Back To Basics Toaster... WOW

16 January 2006

So I got this as a Christmas gift and I thought I'd write a little review about this magnificent, dream machine.

If you're a breakfast fanatic like me then you need one of these puppies. I tell you what! This sucker is the reason I wake up in the morning, has been the reason why I drive 20 min. back home from school or work for lunch, and the reason I tell my wife that she no longer needs to cook. It's brilliant and I love it. (plus they have a fun, interactive web site. Click on the title of this posting to check it out)

Skiing 1.14.06

15 January 2006

Photos from skiing at Snowbasin yesterday 1.14.06 Fantastic day spent with my wife Shannon, Kady (sister), ALex (good friend) , Nolan (strange guy that seems to randomly show up just when you least expect it) and as always my father.

P.S. Nolan is a good friend of my father and has skied with us for years. It had been a while since any of us had seen him so with that in mind, he deserves a good hassle.

Words that Heal

06 January 2006

Thanks to those who have supported the pinky. As of now I can't say that the situation is looking any better but as I read your words of encouragement to the little guy, he gave me a smile and whispered "I'm doing my best".

You all may like to know that my ski season will not be hindered by this minute setback. The ear infection I had over the weekend put me down harder than the pinky thing. But I'm back, and my pinky will be slightly dangling at my side every step, turn or pedal stroke of the way.

Long live the semi-useful pinky.
