NOTHING MUCH

26 November 2006

I went for a ride yesterday

I felt good, so I went for a run after. Am I training for a triathlon? No, just mixing it up a bit. I have a hard time getting motivated to ride but when I do get out I feel really good and that feeling usually lasts for a few days. So hopefully with that I can continue to "feel healthy".

I'm anxiously awaiting the snow so I can start skiing. Many of the resorts are open but I’m not too interested to fight the crowds and be restricted to small portions of the mountain. The time will come.

I'm cold, so I drink hot chocolate, and then I feel better.

There was a time in my life when the cold didn't bother me as much. I remember wearing shorts and a t in Jackson Hole one winter. Now, I'm thinking about buying a down jacket and drinking more hot chocolate. How about that.

Thanksgiving weekend was great. Spent some good family time at the in-laws and my parents. Now it’s back to work. Some of our head Creative Directors will be coming in from Vegas to shoot some ideas with us about an 07 campaign we’re currently working on. I’m really excited about that. Hanging out with creative genius’s, brainstorming ideas, and coming up with new directions for clients is usually a lot of fun, but it’s also a really good learning experience. I’ll keep you updated on how every thing goes.

I'M THANKFUL FOR...

22 November 2006

It's now 2:15 am on wednesday morning. I just returned from my brothers house (that he's building) from a late night push to get things done before he closes and has to move in and he has a lot to do and very little time and has been staying up late at night by himself trying to get things done. (how was that) Earlier in the day I spent 11 hours at work trying to get things done myself, before a long weekend away. Which brings me to what I'm thankful for. Thanksgiving, and a few days off. I'm also thankful for a lot other things but I'm not in the mood to write them down. sorry. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

13 November 2006

On this very day, two years ago, a litter of kittens came into this world. Soon there after they we're taken to the animal shelter and put up for adoption. Zipper, the "Alpha Male" of the pack showed his muscles and sleek physique along with his best puppy dog eyes; and won the likes of Shan. Now we'll celebrate his special day with a casual evening of toys and treats. Feel free to stop by or send Zipper a special happy birthday greeting. Thanks

KICK'EM DOWN, THEN KICK'EM WHILE THEIR DOWN

10 November 2006

have a look at how discusting the world of cycling can be. Sager and Bart are clean. Drug controal is a good thing and I support it 100%, but in this case, its a lttle much given the circumstances. maybe we should all hang it up now... save time, money and paperwork.

On a lighter side and for a good laugh, check this out.

LACKING THE Z'S

06 November 2006

sleepless nights were spent as I made my way through art school to obtain a BFA. No longer tied down with endless school projects and long sleepless nights of design work for critique, I still find myself in the late hours of the evening and early hours of the morning, working my way to a new solution. "I'm going to bed early" usually means, sometime before midnight, but translates to somewhere between 2-3:30am.. Tonight, I'm going to bed early and that means... I plan on being lazy tonight and in bed by 10. I'll let you know how that turns out.

p.s. Halloween pumpkin photos are coming soon... stay tuned
