26 December 2006
Good times with friends and family was expected and good times with friends and family is what happened.
I had a wonderful weekend of skiing, dinners, breakfasts, gifts, being lazy, and even an all nighter working on a christmas video gift. It's been really nice. I'm back to work for two days then another long weekend with a wedding on friday and skiing on sat. and momday, if anyone is interested.
I hope this post finds you all enjoying your holidays. Hopefully I'll have more to say later but for now, I think I'll spend some time on my new set of rollers (thanks to Shan) and watch a good flick.

IF THE BOOT FITS
22 December 2006

I'm so excited! my new boots just came in and I'm anxious to give them a whirl. I paid Firth a visit and got my new
skis mounted up and now I finally have a good pair of fitting boots, I'm really excited. Hopefully that's how I'll spend a good portion of my winter.. that's what I do. Then I suffer in the spring on the bike because I don't have enough hours. I'm okay with that because the skiing is well worth it. I'll put in some hours on the trainer and do some running if I can. In fact I'm hoping that since I don't have school projects that keep me up till 3am, maybe I could watch a few flicks while I pedal my heart out. We'll see how it goes.

THIS ONE IS FOR ME
19 December 2006
Well, santa is coming around more than usual this year. As you may have noticed in my previous post, I graciously left my Santa's with our dear cousin. Hoping they would stay in Utah county, I thought nothing of it after we left on sunday night. Today as Shan got home she found a package in our entry way. It was addressed from Santa him self. As you can see, this goes to show that some white elephant gifts never die.

For now, I will accept this early gift but I'll be wondering where the second Santa resides. I'm guessing the matching pair won't be separated for long but only time will tell.
Thank you Tammy, for the extension of the WEG (I will refer to the white elephant gift as WEG). I hope it provided you with as much christmas joy as it has me.

THIS ONE IS FOR MY COUSIN
18 December 2006

As always the holiday season brings us together as family and friends and with that comes kitschy objects that have little or no use.
As I walked off with this pair of matching santas, my cousin said "I want to see those on your blog." Well, your wish is my command and I hope you didn't mind too much that I left them on you jeep. Happy Holidays and thanks for being so cool as to check out my blog from time to time. Later.

SITE OF THE WEEK
15 December 2006
Brilliant. an extremely fun flash site to visit. Do me a favor and spend some time navigating the site. Also, don't forget to smack the little character around with your cursor. move it near his feet slowly and he'll step right over it.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
09 December 2006
I didn't go skiing today, instead I decided to do a few things around the house. My A.D.D. kicked in and I proceeded to work on something else.

It's just a little holiday message from our little holiday house.

SATURDAY SKIING
03 December 2006

It has begun... for me at least. the ski season has been in force for some time now and finally it started for me. Yesterday I skied with some good friends at Snowbird and enjoyed every minuet of it. We can always use more snow, but it was still really good to be out.

I look forward to posting more on the season as it rolls through and hope to join some of you as we enjoy every minute of it.

Apple F5
01 December 2006

I've been learning a lot of new things lately and I figure It's always good to share the important things in life.
Keyboard Shortcuts: They're extremely useful (everyone should know this) but there's one that I stumbled upon at about 2am last night. Command (apple) F5. For you mac users out there. I was working on a web project in Flash and instead of using shift F5 to clear some frames, I used command F5. Some of you may know about this one but it was a first for me. Not knowing exactly what I had pressed and being extremely tired, the result of this command plagued me for what seemed to be a few hours more. Now, fully awake, I realized where I had gone wrong and will only use this on my co-workers computers as a joke. I suggest you give it a try sometime.
Footballtalk: Footballtalk seems to follow me everywhere. It probably doesn't really follow me, it's just something that everyone seems to do... All the time. I wasn't really aware of this since throughout my school career, most of my fellow students never really cared. The best part about that is nor did I. As I made my transition into the professional world, It seems to be everywhere and it's huge. Footballtalk is not something that I think needs to go away, or be done in private. It's just one of those things that I "need to know a little more about but never really will because I don't have the interest." Constantly I find myself in the middle of Footballtalk conversations, with nothing to contribute or no way out. Wanna get me in a pickle, just bring up some Footballtalk and watch me squirm.
