Bigger than me: part 1/5
(Part 1/5 of a series of posts sharing my reality of dealing with something I thought I was immune to) When you truly love something, you’ll do whatever it takes to make it perfect. From day one, 2017 presented a number of challenges for our family. Through a lot of really hard work, we’ve acknowledged our weaknesses and made huge strides towards everything better. This post marks the beginning of a narrative I’d like to put out there, sharing some behind the scenes details of struggle, hard work, and acknowledgment to a number of supporters along the way.First and foremost, it goes without saying, but here I am saying it… @myalldayparty is the strongest, most resilient and amazing person in my life. I can’t imagine anyone putting up with and standing by me through everything we’ve been through. And I can’t imagine going through any of it without her by my side. Although we both hit the highest of highs and lowest of lows during the year, I feel like she took the brunt of all the crap. She carried the weight of the world and always pulled through, stronger than ever. I am truly nothing without her by my side. So, my dear, Shannon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything big and small, happy and sad, good and bad. You truly mean the world to me and I hope that one day I’ll be able to be half of that for you.
