Drinking this = fast
I'll admit, the first time I tried Carbo Rocket I wasn't hooked. Over the past 14 years I've tried many sports drinks and during that time I acquired a taste that was much different. I was hooked on the sharp and over saturated taste of drinks like Cytomax or Accelerade. Carbo Rocket didn't have that immediate kick, but it was pretty smooth going down. I still wasn't convinced though and continued to use my other options. The hard part about using the other brands, is that sharp taste was often accompanied by quick bursts of energy and an immediate downfall. Plus, if I happened to use it over a long period of time, it would wreak havoc on my insides. As Carbo Rocket continued to develop and come out with new flavors I became even more interested. Numerous times I'd stop by the Carbo Rocket tent at the local races, fill up my bottle and give it another chance. In 2009, just before the PCP2P endurance race I realized I was running short with my current drink mix and was in need of something that would last me seven+ hours. I grabbed some Carbo Rocket, filled up my bottles and put it to the test. The result, a delicious, smooth sports drink that worked. Just over seven hours later not only did Carbo Rocket taste great, it went down extra smooth, didn't cause my insides to twist and shout and kept me feeling strong the entire race. Granted I also ate various other foods and gels, but as all of us know, hydrating is the most important nutritional element of the game. That being said, I'm hooked. And until someone invents some sort of bluetooth/wireless/sattelite transmitted drink mix that zaps into my body every time I need a little refresh, I'll be rolling with Carbo Rocket in my bottles.Try one or all five flavors: Kiwilime, Raspberry Lemonade, Mango, Tropical Orange and Lemonline, get the science behind the drink and read what other athletes are saying about Carbo Rocket at carborocket.com
